HR Data Analyst supports the design, deployment, and administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects. Collaborates with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives like compensation, benefits, performance management, or training. Being an HR Data Analyst implements scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and others that make up the employment life-cycle. Performs employee data management and analysis processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistent with company policies and privacy regulations. Additionally, HR Data Analyst prepares and delivers required reporting and filings. May be responsible for the coordination of HR process outsourcing vendors and contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The HR Data Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     We are looking for a INFOR Functional Analyst in our Salt Lake City, UT or Poca, WV location. This role will be responsible for configuring and delivering critical business functions for the Accounting department as part of Company's ongoing Infor Syteline ERP implementation effort. Additional duties will include documenting business requirements and processes, application configuration, security configuration, interface design, and other duties as assigned for administration and management of the ERP system. This role is part of Company's Information Technology (IT) team but will require frequent interaction with Accounting, Operations, HR and other business teams within Company.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary liaison between the business and IT for understanding, defining and developing business processes and practices within ERP related to the Accounting function.
    • Define business requirements and produce functional design specifications, traceability matrix, and test cases.
    • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for applications within the area of responsibility and provide production support.
    • Deliver assignments according to a schedule.
    • Use business analysis techniques to proactively identify process improvements, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
    • Work effectively within and across teams to get things accomplished. Bring a new perspective and fresh ideas.
    • Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for architecture, design, implementation, and testing activities.
    • Present technical subjects/issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Provide regular communication to management on work assignment issues and status.
    • Work directly with vendor resources to achieve project goals and provide ongoing support of the system.
    • Build, develop, and grow business relationships with users, IT and with external vendors.

    Job Qualifications:

    • 2-5 years of direct work experience in information technology supporting the Accounting module of enterprise applications (Infor Syteline (preferred), SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, etc.).
    • Expert in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
    • Conforms well to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies to solving business problems.
    • Experience in industrial manufacturing/heavy equipment preferred

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Systems Analysis, or related field or equivalent work experience.
