Group Delta is looking for an exceptional Data Analyst to join our Environmental division. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the presence, behavior, and impact of PFAS. The Analyst will collaborate with the Environmental team to understand and manage PFAS contamination in various projects. The analysis and reporting will support key decisions across the business practice for the Environmental team.
What you’ll do:
- Effectively conducts and completes complex research related to PFAS.
- Responsible for creating, tracking, managing, and analyzing data sets in database.
- Develop accurate reports and maintain data models to produce clean data sets.
- Provides support to business leaders by analyzing data and producing complete, accurate analyses that provide actionable insights.
- Assist in building out the environmental team’s data tech stack.
- Provide support to non-technical users in our business intelligence platform by helping them find and understand data as well as troubleshooting issues.
- Stay up to date with latest developments in PFAS to identify insights in our data that others have not discovered.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
What to bring:
- BS/BA degree in a technical field (mathematics, statistics, data science, etc.) or equivalent years of direct experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in data management and analysis
- 2 years working with business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, Mode, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, etc.)
- At least 2 years of experience analyzing data with Python/R/other programming skills.
- At least 1 year of SQL experience with a focus on querying, transforming, and analyzing data.
- Familiarity with ETL tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
