HR Data Analyst supports the design, deployment, and administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects. Collaborates with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives like compensation, benefits, performance management, or training. Being an HR Data Analyst implements scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and others that make up the employment life-cycle. Performs employee data management and analysis processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistent with company policies and privacy regulations. Additionally, HR Data Analyst prepares and delivers required reporting and filings. May be responsible for the coordination of HR process outsourcing vendors and contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The HR Data Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead data management projects and initiatives
    • Conduct regular data audits, provide root cause analysis, and address data integrity issues on key HR data fields
    • Support stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, and downstream assessment on proposed changes to existing (or new) logic, methodology, or use of data elements
    • Support end users with development of documentation and user guides for definition and maintenance of data elements
    • Complete setup of new foundation data requests (e.g. org structure, locations, etc.)
    • Configure and maintain business process workflows
    • Participate in end-user testing and vendor releases in accordance with policies and procedures
    • Develop and administer reports, as needed
    • Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for change and process improvement
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Competencies:

    • Strong analytical skills and experience in data validation
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and adjust quickly to frequently changing assignments
    • Knowledge and understanding of HR and timekeeping systems administration and management
    • Knowledge and understanding of data integrations
    • Knowledge of aspects of the HR lifecycle (e.g., recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compensation, etc.)
    • Knowledge of report writing
    • Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional team members
    • Ability to manage data projects/implementations successfully within timelines
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Ability to be organized and meet deadlines

    Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses):

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
    • 3 to 5 years plus of HR data management/analysis experience
    • Experience with HRIS/Timekeeping administration preferably UKG Pro, Workday, Kronos WFC and/or Dimensions is highly desired
    • Experience with new system and/or module implementations also highly desirable

    Pay and Benefits:

    Salary range $71,000 - $90,000

    The Leidos QTC Health Services pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to): geographic location, responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
