Job Description:
The Cage Supervisor will manage the accountability of assigned funds and protect company assets. Responsibilities include performing fills, credits and even money exchanges, preparing funds for slot pay-outs, preparing paid in and paid out forms, cashing checks and redeeming chips and tickets. Must also be able to count chips, checks and monies to balance assigned banks at the end of each shift.
Job Requirements:
Process all in house business to include making change, cashing e-tickets and slot payouts.
Responsible for making bank deposits.
Responsible for balancing cage reconciliations each day.
Supervise front line cashiers on policies and procedures.
Help front line cashiers during peak business periods.
Balance vault and verify all unattended drawers.
Effectively communicate with Cage Manager.
Responsible for making and logging accurate reports for the department manager.
Issue employee banks to assigned employees and their departments.
Help with the distribution of payroll checks at the Cage on paydays.
Knowledge of Title 31 requirements while enforcing gaming policies and procedures.
Help with soft count when needed.
Help hand out keys.
Make up the daily kiosk banks.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Must have previous supervisory experience.
Must have previous experience in handling cash.
Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must be able to use a 10 key and have strong computer skills.
Respond to common inquiries and/or complaints from guest.
Ability to deal with inebriated customers in a courteous manner.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
Basic knowledge of S.D.S, or Casino Market Place is a plus.
