Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Guest Services Department which includes but not limited to: season pass processing, toll booth, turnstiles, tickets sells phone bank and the season pass lounge.
- Will assist the Guest Services Manager in all facets of the department.
- Retain general park knowledge and a friendly personality to assist with all guest needs.
- Follow and uphold policies and procedures as determined by Magic Springs.
- Work together as a team, maintaining a pleasant and outgoing attitude.
- Follow daily opening and closing procedures in a timely fashion.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the operations of every aspect of our direct departments.
- Train and develop seasonal team members and future members of the leadership team.
- Enforce departmental policies and procedures. Follow and enforce appropriate corrective discipline procedures.
- Ensure labor guidelines are followed.
- Ensure scheduling is sufficient and follows labor guidelines.
- Assist Human Resources with recruiting.
- Evaluate internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Have working knowledge of all departmental software such as scheduling, timekeeping, POS and Inventory Management Software.
- Manage department when Manager is off property.
- Complete all other tasks as assigned by the department Manager, Assistant General Manager or General Manager.
- Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming (clean) work area.
- Must maintain proper attendance and promptness.

- Requires occasional kneeling and bending.
- Requires occasional reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling.
- Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
- Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech.
Minimum Qualifications- Prior leadership skills experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a high demand and stressful environment.
- Must be able to use a cash register and credit card machines.
- Ability to use a sense of courtesy and professionalism when dealing with Guests and Team Members.
- Strong guest orientation.
- Leadership: demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a one-to-two-year time span.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and a function level.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve issues and to effect continual improvements by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
- Requires accuracy, thoroughness, and self-monitoring to ensure quality work.
- Familiarity with health department and other government compliance regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
