Guest Services Manager jobs in Vermont

Guest Services Manager is responsible for managing concierge services and operations. Ensures concierge services help guests with reservations, travel arrangements, and suggestions for attractions or activities. Being a Guest Services Manager coaches concierge staff in customer service, and handles escalated customer service issues as needed. Monitors staff scheduling and shifts. Additionally, Guest Services Manager coordinates with hotel departments to deliver customer satisfaction and resolve problems. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Guest Services Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Guest Services Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     For our Guest Services Keyholders, it’s all about HOSPITALITY! They love to connect, serve, listen, and operate in a super busy, high energy part of the store. Our Guest Services team is the heartbeat of the store; you will be working with a super dedicated, skilled, and caring bunch of people whose job is to take the very best care of our guests and to communicate effectively with our entire staff, keeping them up to speed on all issues that guests bring to their attention.

    The Ideal Candidate will: 

    • Provide outstanding service and hospitality to our guests by answering and fielding all inquiries and issues in a professional, caring, and timely manner
    • Communicate effectively with all guests and staff and stay up-to-date on many aspects of the store’s operations
    • Hold basic Front End operational responsibilities in assisting cashiers with POS functions, counting in and counting down drawers, and making change

    We have part time and full time positions available.

    Pay: Starts at $16.50 per hour (Previous experience will be taken into consideration) 

    Location: 222 Dorset, South Burlington, VT
