Guest Services Manager is responsible for managing concierge services and operations. Ensures concierge services help guests with reservations, travel arrangements, and suggestions for attractions or activities. Being a Guest Services Manager coaches concierge staff in customer service, and handles escalated customer service issues as needed. Monitors staff scheduling and shifts. Additionally, Guest Services Manager coordinates with hotel departments to deliver customer satisfaction and resolve problems. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Guest Services Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Guest Services Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Pend Oreille Shores Resort is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented customer service professional to be our next Guest Services Manager. You will oversee all front office staff and operations to ensure that our guests and owners have a wonderful stay at our property.
Our Guest Services Manager responsibilities include greeting clients as they arrive, coordinating their check-ins to assigned rooms and informing them about the hotel’s facilities. You will also make sure our front-desk staff are trained and performing multiple roles throughout the department including roles in retail sales, owner services, scheduling property tours and sales events, booking activities and working as our concierge as well as managing the relationships with adventure partners. All while offering stellar customer service and providing memorable hospitality experiences for our guests.
If you have previous hospitality experience and are familiar with hotel procedures, like bookings, luggage collection, storage, check-in/check-out processes, we’d like to meet you. Our ideal candidates have a flair for communication, with the ability to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner.
