Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) manages commercial lending activity for a designated market of the organization. Establishes and manages lending objectives, targets, strategies, and practices to achieve organizational financial, growth, and service goals. Being a Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) seeks out new business opportunities and develops strategies to expand existing business. Manages the maintenance and servicing of existing commercial loan portfolio. Additionally, Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal risk and operating policies and procedures. Builds a high-performance lending team with individual coaching and professional development opportunities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Responsibilities range from project set up, project buyout, contract execution and compliance, material and equipment procurement, daily progress tracking, Project safety compliance, material and equipment invoice approval, manpower timesheet approval, responsible for project sequencing and scheduling maintaining and updating schedules, coordination and communication with GC, extra work and change order distribution/tracking, coordination with Operation managers to secure adequate manpower, weekly cost report job forecasting, overall project fiscal responsibility.

    • Contract/Scope review and execution.
    • Project safety compliance
    • Job cost spread and estimate review
    • Project sequencing and scheduling
    • Project quantity/progress tracking
    • Project cost reporting
    • Invoice coding and approval
    • Material/equipment procurement
    • Change order request issuance/tracking
    • Develop basic change order estimate pricing
    • Coordination with GC/Owner
    • Coordination with the Operations manager regarding manpower/resources
    • Mentoring Project Engineers

    Education/Experience/Attributes/Requirements:
    • 3 years of experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineer recommended.
    • Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
    • Project setup, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting experience is a must
    • Good understanding of critical path scheduling.
    • Experience leading successful project teams, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities
    • Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
    • Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on my own as well as in a team environment.
