Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) manages commercial lending activity for a designated market of the organization. Establishes and manages lending objectives, targets, strategies, and practices to achieve organizational financial, growth, and service goals. Being a Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) seeks out new business opportunities and develops strategies to expand existing business. Manages the maintenance and servicing of existing commercial loan portfolio. Additionally, Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal risk and operating policies and procedures. Builds a high-performance lending team with individual coaching and professional development opportunities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Responsibilities:

    General

    • Ability to function as BIM/VDC project manager on assigned projects
    • Ability to develop and implement BIM/VDC processes on assigned projects
    • Ability to manage and train BIM/VDC staff on assigned projects
    • Trains project staff on current BIM/VDC processes and services
    • Spends time at the jobsite implementing BIM/VDC field construction processes
    • Markets BIM/VDC services internally and externally
    • Presents BIM/VDC projects and services in BIM/VDC organizations and forums
    • Stays current on what is being marketed/executed by competitors in local markets

    Construction & Contracts

    • Creates project specific BIM Project Execution Plans (BEPs) on assigned projects
    • Implements BIM/VDC services and defines trade responsibility
    • Creates project specific BIM/VDC contract language; creates and executes BIM/VDC consultant agreements
    • Model Creation & Management
    • Creates models including site logistics, structure, interior/exterior architecture, and MEP/FP systems as needed, verifying model quality and accuracy
    • Creates custom model components and families
    • Manages all model authoring service providers and sub-trades
    • Manages model revisions, versioning, exchange, and as-builts
    • 4D Scheduling
    • Creates, revises, and maintains 4D schedules

    Trade & Field Coordination

    • Develops and maintains BIM/VDC coordination schedules on assigned projects
    • Manages and distributes BIM/VDC coordination files on assigned projects
    • Leads and/or Manages the BIM/VDC coordination effort and identifies areas of conflict, leading conflict resolution
    • Tracks and reports on BIM/VDC coordination progress and efficiency
    • Creates and distributes coordination meeting minutes
    • Manages BIM/VDC shop and field use drawing production and review
    • Ability to create dimensioned drawings from the model for field use
    • Leads and manages BIM/VDC layout on assigned projects and field as-built validation and verification

    5D Estimating

    • Manages the validation of models for model based quantity takeoff
    • Creates model based quantity surveys for estimate verification
    • Models components as needed for accurate quantity takeoff

    Requirements:

    • A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program or equivalent
    • A Minimum 5 years of project engineering experience - Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or equivalent
    • Thorough knowledge of construction related BIM/VDC processes and project delivery methods and their impact on BIM/VDC services (CMR, DBB, IPD, etc.)
    • Advanced knowledge of BIM/VDC software
    • Proven leadership qualities from previous project roles and strong communication and public speaking skills
    • Advanced understanding of construction terminology and processes; construction materials and systems; and drawings and specifications
    • Thorough understanding of BIM/VDC requirements based on project delivery methods
    • Thorough understanding of planning and scheduling concepts and advanced understanding of construction work sequencing
    • Advanced understanding of quality control principles
