Service Manager - Equipment Installation and Maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of 5 to 15 plus technicians and staff, promoting a culture of ownership and professionalism. Encourage continuous skill development and foster a supportive work environment.
• Technical and Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of service operations including scheduling, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of equipment. Ensure all operations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and issues, ensuring timely and accurate communication and fostering strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Process and Quality Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring high-quality service delivery that meets all client expectations.
• Performance Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as service profitability, timeliness of work completion, and customer satisfaction, aiming to minimize callbacks and maximize service efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Manager, preferably in equipment maintenance, facility maintenance, equipment rental industry, HVAC, or related fields.
• Proficient in technical equipment troubleshooting and maintenance, with experience in air compressors, automotive lifts, or similar equipment highly regarded.
• Strong competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and adept at using computers and smartphones.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business or management is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as ALI Certification, EPA Universal License, or specific manufacturer training are advantageous but not required.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Salary range: $55,000 to $75,000 plus based on experience, with potential bonuses and incentives.

Location:

• This position is based at our headquarters in Keene, TX. Regular in-person attendance is required, with occasional travel for training and service calls.
