Job Description/Role
Here at Rome Grinding Solutions, our Administrative Generalist supports the functionality and daily workflows of the front office. Major job roles and daily tasks for this position include answering phones, greeting arriving guests, directing visitors, making copies, and assisting the Accounting department with filing and mail runs. The Administrative Generalist will also help the Cost Control department purchasing raw materials. You will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of Rome Grinding Solutions by accurately filing documents, coordinating incoming and outgoing freight, making popcorn daily for staff and guests, brewing coffee, and completing other internal office tasks as needed. Rome Grinding Solutions is looking for an exceptionally outgoing and organized individual who reflects Rome's vision and understands that first impressions are critical.
Responsibilities
Screen and direct phone calls by being the first point of contact and following phone etiquette
Distribute phone call correspondence and take accurate messages
Welcome guests and customers
Provide basic company information and manage information flow
Help maintain office supply inventory by ordering necessary office supplies and organize supply rooms
Schedule daily freight for the sales team
Maintain files and organize documents
Photocopy, fax, filing, laminating, etc.
Light cleaning duties, run the dishwasher and stock restrooms
Make popcorn and coffee daily
Assist Accounting with filing
Daily mail run
Draw daily bingo number and prepare bingo cards
Assist with material: quote/purchase, invoice material and receive material
