Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Grinding and Polishing Worker, Hand relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Job Summary
Provides accurate and timely results to physicians. Performs various chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests on patient/resident specimens to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Certification, Licensure, Registration
- Certified as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist required within one year of placement in the role.
Work Schedule
- 8:00am-5:00pm; 72hrs/2wks
- Rotating call, weekends and Holiday
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $26.75 - $39.50 per hour
