We have an immediate opening for a Grinder to join our production floor. You must be proficient with standard industry tools and machinery, including small swing grinders and small hand grinders.

You will grind and smooth areas of metal parts to remove defects, sharp edges, scratches, and excess material. After grinding, you will inspect each piece to ensure they meet specifications.

All Grinders must follow all company policies and safety procedures at all times. Grinder Duties and Responsibilities Set up tools and machinery for the project Grind and smooth rough areas of each piece Inspect finished pieces for quality control Follow all safety procedures and company policies Department Flow Able to communicate problems to lead person to continuously keep producing quality product.

Work autonomously or within the group. Proficient with most equipment in the area and be able to perform basic machine repairs.

Quality & Training Understand requirements of all jobs to assure quality, accurate quantity and on-time production. Participate in quality initiatives when applicable.

Maintenance and Safety Follow company policy pertaining to maintenance and safety requirements. Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.

Maintain a clean environment and organized at all times. Report any downed machines, safety violations or accidents through proper channels.

Grinder Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate 1 years of professional grinding experience (preferred) A LETTER TO APPLICANTS : Thanks for visiting!
