Graphic Design and Photography Manager

POSITION DUTIES:

• Creative concepting for all campaigns and style guides
• Design and production of over 200 email, brochures, inserts and customer handouts
• Set-up and oversee the production of over 15,000 garden signs, all sale and product signing
• Photograph of 2000 images per year for in-house and print use
• Participate in 20 photo shoots per year

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS College degree in marketing or communications or related field required
• Must have 3 to 5 years of graphic design experience for print and online, digital photography experience of products, people and concepts 
• Directing and assisting with photo shoots, judging point of purchase designs
• Strong working knowledge/demonstrated computer application ability of print advertising and digital media
• Demonstrated computer design knowledge of creation of style and branding guides, ads, brochures, flyers, coupons, stuffers, and in-store signage
• Experience with content management systems for ease of search and use for multiple departments
• Experience with print and production fundamentals
• Passion for and knowledge of gardening (product seasonality and availability), growing and inspiring and helping others to learn through captivating graphics and imagery
• Proven ability to create and edit content and communications with focused attention to detail for correct grammar, punctuation and usage

SCHEDULE:

Monday -Friday: 8 am -5 pm and occasional longer hours during key holidays
