Our well-established and growing graphics manufacturing operation is seeking a screen-making technician trainee. Relevant experience is desired, however, candidates with strong work ethic, and high attention to detail, who are seeking work in a safe, ethical, and fun manufacturing environment should apply. This is a good entry position for our graphic screen print operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Stretch mesh on both “Stretch & Glue” as well as “Newman Roller” frames.
Precisely hand-coat emulsion onto stretched screens.
Expose, wash out, and finish screens as needed to support printing operation.
Clean and reclaim screens after use. (Reclaim Lab is a damp environment)
Requires the use of a pressure washer and non-toxic chemicals.
PPE provided: Eye Protection, Hearing Protection, Gloves, Apron.
Monitor printing schedule and prepare screens as needed to maintain the schedule.
Monitor and maintain required quality standards.
Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Able to understand and read English.
Familiar with reading technical drawings.
Proficient in the use of measuring devices such as rulers and tape measures.

Capable of standing for an eight-hour work shift.
Vision corrected to 20/20 and strong attention to fine detail.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
