Graphic Design Teacher

The Empower College & Career Center (EmpowerC3) is an educational partnership with businesses in Jackson County and the surrounding area. The Empower Center engages students in career relevant learning experiences. Through partnerships with business and industry, higher education and our community, students work toward goals that help them reach their college and career objectives. Some of these goals include completing pathways and earning credentials. Students will leave high school with authentic experiences that will help them define and refine their choices after high school – in college, a career, or in the military.

Course Summary:
In the Graphic Design pathway, students will plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to creative and communication design problems. The curriculum highlights the most effective way to communicate via print and digital media using a variety of methods.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree


Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Graphic Design, advertising, marketing, graphic arts, or related field
Previous experience in graphic design, advertising, marketing, or related field

Employment Terms:
190 day contracted year
Annual Salary based on degree level and years of creditable experience

Preference will be given to candidates who possess both minimum and preferred qualifications.
