Job Description Summary

Creative & Digital Design Supervisor is responsible for creative design and production of graphics which appear across multiple digital distribution channels; website, social media, mobile, on-line advertising, email and on-property digital signage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Work closely with the Creative Design Manager in coordinating assignments to ensure design and quality meets Agua Caliente Casinos brand standards.
• Support the Creative Design Manager in creating branding concepts for all properties.
• Support the Creative Design Manager in the training of entry level Graphic Designers and Production Artists.
• Supervise graphic designers and manage department workload.
• Update digital content on Cisco Vision and provide design improvements.
• Maintain Cisco Vision software with updating, cleaning out and replacing video files.
• Create multiple visual concepts for high-end retail promotions and private events.
• Develop digital concepts which engage current and prospective guests while supporting our brand positioning across all digital channels.
• Assist and/or work with I.T with troubleshooting digital platforms and/or software on an as needed basis.
• Create digital assets for motion graphics, pdf documents, banners, posters, etc and updating video content through Cisco Vision.
• Design logos, brochures, menus, website and digital graphics and all on-property collateral.
• Create graphics for TV, print, outdoor and direct mail marketing programs.
• Create compelling visual concepts for email, social media and internet advertising to support media campaign objectives and increase conversions.
• Work with marketing team members to develop social media assets.
• Assist and develop photography and videography content.
• Develop and manage content of graphic messaging for distribution on digital displays.
• Interact with internal clients on their projects from initial consultation meetings to final approval of concept.
• Maintain current working knowledge of all digital/graphic advertising best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills to work on multiple projects effectively under time constraints and established deadlines.
• Provides excellent guest service through clear communication.
• Must comply with all applicable Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a technical school; or at least five (5) years design management experience in either a Marketing Department, and/or Advertising firm with an emphasis on creative concepts and the creation of intricate art & design layout.
• A strong, equivalent proven background in Direct Mail design (minimum of three (3) years) that includes demonstrated experience in managing the design process for direct mail, will also be considered.
• Experience in a Casino, Marketing Department, and/or Advertising Firm with an emphasis on creative concepts is preferred.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills, in English, on the telephone and in person.
• Must be able to use and understand Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects with Mac OSX platform.
• Outstanding organizational skills; must be able to multi-task.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift. Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:  a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
