  • ```Job Summary:```

    • Create graphic content, manage social media messaging and mass communications, as well as prepare external and internal communications that promote a positive image and increase awareness of Tombigbee Fiber and Tombigbee Electric Power Association to various audiences. Additionally, work to create, organize, and follow through with marketing programs or campaigns utilizing prepared graphic content, social media messaging and other mass communications to inform, educate and promote all things Tombigbee.

    ```Responsibilities:```
    -

    • Create graphic designs and content for print or electronic formats as directed to promote Tombigbee and Tombigbee Fiber and their customer and member relations and products and services;
    • Review and respond to social media comments on multiple platforms and respond or direct to management for response as appropriate;
    • Work to create, organize, and follow through with marketing programs or campaigns utilizing prepared graphic content, social media messaging and other mass communications to inform, educate and promote all things Tombigbee;
    • Execute on marketing plans;
    • Ability to understand customer data, surveys and marketing information and formulate marketing and business goals, objectives and plans;
    • Exhibit an ability to work independently on task and under deadlines;
    • Perform community, member, and public relations related activities, such as assisting with the development of communication materials to include social media, news articles, and television/radio advertising;
    • Plan, implement, coordinate and review promotional campaigns to build brand awareness;
    • Ability to produce copywriting, creative, and graphic design materials;
    • Works with management to implement communications strategies to foster community, member and governmental relations;
    • Develop and execute an integrated online strategy utilizing web and social media channels;
    • Responds to social media questions and provides updates as necessary;
    • Assist sales efforts by providing event planning, presentations, and public relations support, and when requested participate in the same;
    • Works extensively with the Fiber Services department to understand customer needs and promote products and services;
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
    • Create, update, and optimize all electronic and print marketing collateral;
    • Develop new material to ensure content is current on the Tombigbee website, as well as the intranet and social media page(s);
    • Represent Tombigbee in civic and related community organizations throughout the service territory, state and region;
    • Involvement in planning, production and ordering of promotional items issued by Tombigbee Fiber;
    • Participates as an active team member of the Manager’s staff by attending required meetings, showing respect for other team members, and contributing insights and opinions;
    • Coordinating photography at member, employee and civic events for use in performance of all other actions described herein;
    • Ability to work with programs such as Adobe, Photoshop, Canva and other related design platforms;
    • Responsible for following all safety policies, rules, and procedures; and
    • Performs other duties as directed by the CEO.

    ```Qualifications:```

    • High School graduate or equivalent; Preference given to Associate’s Degree or higher in related field. Minimum of three years related experience required. Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
    • Creative/Graphic design experience or ability is required.
    • Must have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Decisions and duties are regularly reviewed and have an impact on operations.
    • Knowledge of web design, photography and video production is preferred.
    • Work history that includes digital advertising and understanding metrics for targeting specific customers or groups.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from members, employees, and the general public.
    • Demonstrated abilities and skills operating a personal computer using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite applications to include Outlook, Excel, Word. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Google Ads is beneficial. Familiarization with social media platforms which includes Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
    • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Copyright experience would be beneficial.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to set priorities using good organizational skills.
    • Strong customer orientation with a desire to work in a team environment.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality with all business data.
