JOB SUMMARY

The Early Learning Indiana Graphic Design Intern (internally known as External Engagement Intern) will assist the External Engagement team with tasks such as but not limited to visual content creation for social media and website channels, digital media creation, marketing events preparation and/or internal communication. As a Graphic Design Intern you will receive exposure and hands on creative design experience for a diverse non-profit organization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares illustrations or layouts of material according to instructions of manager.
• Comfortably use and build within design guidelines and templates.
• Assist with creating or editing presentations in PowerPoint.
• Assist with video production (shooting, editing, etc)
• Assist in drafting, editing and sending communications through Hubspot.
• Create social media and website content for Early Learning Indiana, Day Early Learning and Brighter Futures Indiana digital channels in collaboration with the entire marketing team. 
• Assist in planning, preparation, execution and follow up of engagement events. Events will engage families, providers and early childhood education partners. This may include sourcing and purchasing marketing materials.
• Responsible for timely completion of multiple projects.
• Reviews quality of final product before release for production.
• Other duties as assigned to advance the mission of Early Learning Indiana.
