Graphic Design Specialist jobs in Gadsden, AL
Graphic Design Specialist designs and produces graphic art and visual materials for print and digital media. Ensures that layout and design are aligned with brand and production standards and follow best practices. Being a Graphic Design Specialist creates and executes design solutions and collateral used for marketing, advertising, sales, and other forms of communication. Coordinates with customers and stakeholders to conceptualize and deliver projects on time and budget. Additionally, Graphic Design Specialist experienced using a variety of design and editing tools and software such as Adobe. Knowledge of color, composition, typography, digital design and production management. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Graphic Design Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. - College graduate or 1 years of experience designing for brands in-house or at an agency.
Intermediate design skills with a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software:
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- After Effects (is a plus)
- Can think conceptually about how to visually support a product or service in an original, imaginative, and attention-grabbing way
- Provide portfolio of current graphic design work
OTHER NOTES:
- Experience with motion graphics and video production
- Experience using project management platforms (ie. ClickUp)
- Knowledge and interest in photography/videography
- Experience with Sketch and Figma is a plus
