Job Title: Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer will support the U.S. Navy in Keyport, Washington. This role involves coordinating print production, maintaining archives, and producing high-quality print media content.

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating print production schedules, specifications, and work-order reports for various print design products, including posters, signage, presentations, and other print media
• Assisting in facilitating relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective production of print materials
• Producing high-quality presentations and other print media-based content, collaborating closely with design staff to assist in content creation and refinement
• Working with design teams to develop and refine graphic content for print materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and design standards
• Maintaining a current print production archive categorized for both public and non-public release
• Ensuring all print products are properly archived with metadata within two business days on the designated Code 103 digital library

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in print design, layout, and typography
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and other relevant design software
• Familiarity with print production processes, specifications, and best practices for large-scale print shop operations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
• Meticulous attention to detail in design execution, ensuring accuracy and quality in all print materials
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a creative team environment

Desired:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• Certification in graphic design software or equivalent training and experience

Work Setting and Environment:

• Monday - Friday, normal working hours
• Hybrid work structure; 60% onsite and 40% remote
• Onsite location is Keyport, Washington
