    Join us as a Service Writer at Model 1 Commercial Vehicles! You'll be the backbone of our team, handling customer concerns with efficiency and care. From managing paperwork to coordinating with various departments, your role is essential in keeping our service department running smoothly.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess vehicle condition upon arrival and communicate service needs to customers.
    • Handle paperwork, including work lists, repair orders, and warranty claims.
    • Keep customers informed about their vehicle's status, costs, and repair timelines.
    • Collaborate with service management, sales, parts, and warranty departments.
    • Assist in filing warranty claims, scheduling repairs, and obtaining necessary approvals.
    • Ensure proper documentation of repair procedures according to manufacturer guidelines.
    • Address customer inquiries promptly and escalate issues when needed.
    • Take on additional duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Two years of relevant work experience.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in computer data processing.
    • Physical ability to perform tasks such as kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and manual dexterity.
