Rock House Kids is seeking a part-time Grant Writer to join our busy Christian-based nonprofit.
The ideal candidate is a Christ-follower, team player, who works with integrity, excels in time management, creative, organized, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Duties include:
· Research grant opportunities.
. Writes, edits, and submits proposal narratives and reports to request grants from foundations and individual donors.
· Manages and assembles all materials for proposal and report submissions, including, but not limited to: cover letters, letters of intent, proposal forms, concept papers, program budgets, etc.
· Maintains a robust tracking system of all prospect and donor engagement, reporting and proposal deadlines, implements, assigns tasks as needed, and tracks progress on all development-related projects.
· Communicates with donors regarding submissions, questions about guidelines, acknowledgment of grants, etc.
· Coordinates timely execution of proposal and report submissions, including coordinating input from the Executive Director and Development Coordinator and timely communication of financial reporting and budget needs with the Finance and Marketing Coordinator.
· Provides writing support for major individual donor correspondence and outreach materials.
