Ensures each grant-writing project complies with the funder's policies, formats, timelines, reporting, and legal requirements. Additionally, Grants/Proposal Writer may participate in the negotiation of contractual provisions with potential partners. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Grants/Proposal Writer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Responsibilities
Schedule appointments for repair, maintenance, recall work
Greet customers, inspect their motorcycles, and answer questions
Document problems with Motorcycles and clearly describe them on the Repair Order
Notify the Service Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known, so the customer can be immediately notified
Advise customers on necessary / suggested services and cost
Offer additional services and products, including special promotions
Follow the status of a customer's powersports vehicle from service bay entry through the completion of work
Communicate any changes in timeline, repairs, or cost to the customer
Upon completion of work, review the work order with the customer
Maintain current technical qualifications by completing all training programs assigned by the Service Manager
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
1 years of Powersports, Harley-Davidson, or Automotive Dealership service experience
1 years Commission Based customer-facing sales experience (preferred)
Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
Pleasant, energetic, conscientious, and dependable personality
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Motorcycle Endorsement preferred
Must pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen
