Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator operates a specially equipped tractor to gouge out, level, and distribute earth. Prepares land for constructing roads and buildings. Being a Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, and lift trucks to move materials and products pick parts
- Safely pick product while using reach truck
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory counts
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience operating reach, forklifts, or lift trucks
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory and reading
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
