Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator jobs in Minneapolis, MN

Position Summary:

Bituminous Roadways, Inc. (BR) is a growing, award-winning, and established union highway/heavy contractor looking for a Motor Grader Operator to join our team. 

Our main office is located in Mendota Heights, MN. BR also has plant locations in Inver Grove Heights, Shakopee, Columbus, and Minneapolis.

Key Responsibilities:

Reasonable accommodations made be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 

• Fully understand the controls and functions of the motor grader.
  
• Operate all controls and functions in a safe and non-abusive manner.
• Communication via 2-way radio.
• Achieve acceptable rough and finish grade in all types of soils and conditions.
• Read and understand grades on stakes.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Familiar with daily equipment inspections and maintenance
• Capable of grading slopes

Preferred Experience/Education:

• Experience in heavy highway construction with an emphasis in finish motor grade operations
• GPS experience - a plus
• Valid driver license

All candidates are required to pass a thorough Background Check, Physical and Drug Test.  References will also be checked.
