Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator operates a specially equipped tractor to gouge out, level, and distribute earth. Prepares land for constructing roads and buildings. Being a Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Job Description
Collect samples, separate grains, and inspect for flaws, measure and compute percentage of flawed grains or other measurable traits and compare to grading specifications.
This will be a Monday-Friday except during harvest which will change to 7 days a week for that time frame.
Job Duties
Basic computer skills required.
Must be physically fit, able to bend, climb and stand for long periods of time.
Willing to work long hours during harvest (August thru November)
Must be physically able to work in a dusty environment.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
