Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator jobs in Farmington, MI

Our Livonia Distribution Center, a 400,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking Production Graders to join our team. In this critical role, you will work on production lines to sort incoming raw product: peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers; ensuring that all product meets the required specifications for our customers.

Now Offering a Temporary Bonus of an additional $6.00/hour!

Full time shift: Days and Nights, 12-hour shifts; 3 /4 work week; equivalent to working 14 days/month

• Sunday-Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays; 5am-5pm & 5pm-5am
• Thursday-Saturday and alternating Wednesdays; 5am-5pm & 5pm-5am

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain product quality standards that meet product specifications.
• Assist in packaging/washing set up, as needed, to ensure smooth flow of product.
• Maintain a sanitized and organized department that meets all food safety requirements.
• Must handle all sanitizing chemicals safely, as prescribed.
• Work as a team member; follow directions and offer support and suggestions when necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma is preferred.
• Related work experience in food production an asset.

• Proficient in use of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Available to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays may be required).
• Be respectful and deal tactfully with employees, customers and vendors.
• Keep all company information confidential and will not disclose any company information to outside individuals.

• Complete a background and drug test screening.
