of Job :

Operates and sets up radial saw to cut CBT to correct lengths. Operates conveyor for scrap collection and dust collector.

Ability to learn how to grade to ensure quality. Separates rejects as needed. Stack and label loads appropriately; estimates / figures square footage for accuracy in inventory.

Enters data into AX, creates tags. Contributes as a team member, works with a partner. Other duties as assigned, including duties in other departments.

Requirements :

• Read / interpret grade / customer specifications
• Perform multiple visual checks of the product, high attention to detail
• LOTO Certified
• Use hand tools : Hand sander and band cutter
• Knowledge of species, cuts
• Competent computer skills for data entry in AX
• Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Read a tape measure, use a moisture meter and calipers
• Frequent twisting, bending; pushing and pulling
• Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Stands / walks throughout shift 10 hours
