Qualifications - the ideal candidates will possess the following:
· Five years of experience in equipment sales to government accounts is preferred, but experience in related sectors will be considered.
· High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education preferred, although equipment sales experience may be substituted or combined with education.
· Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, online machine specification and ordering software and other internet-based programs.
· Must be able to communicate clearly with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to occasionally write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, managers, suppliers and the general public.
· Requires regular travel with an occasional overnight stay.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
· A team player with strong references from former employers and colleagues.
· Outstanding qualifications in certain categories may help to offset a lack of experience in other areas.
