Government Compliance Manager plans and directs the government compliance function; provides corporate-wide focus for efforts relating to compliance with government procurement laws and regulations. Includes oversight responsibility for government contract compliance audit and training functions. Being a Government Compliance Manager establishes policy on a variety of procurement matters, including government accounting, government property and independent research and development issues. Develops and maintains the company's compliance risk management program to manage legal and regulatory compliance risks based on the Federal Sentencing Guidelines requirements and benchmarking research, facilitating the systematic assessment and management of compliance risks. Additionally, Government Compliance Manager ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley. Requires a master's/law degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Government Compliance Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Summary:
The Government Compliance Analyst – Training Specialist 3 is part of an established cohesive team responsible for evaluating internal operational and procedural compliance in accordance with applicable U.S Government regulations. The Government Compliance Analyst – Training Specialist performs gap analysis of established training and training required to comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR). This includes all training required to comply with the six Contractor Business Systems as stated in the DFAR. Supports audits performed by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
