  • Job Summary:

    RWJBH is seeking a Coordinator Regulatory for our Community & Government Affairs department at the New Brunswick campus. This is a full-time, day position (40 hours/week).

    As part of the Regulatory Department:

    Helps coordinate the hospital s regulatory readiness to ensure compliance with regulations and standards of accrediting agencies,

    Monitors compliance of the standards and works in collaboration with the departments to implement performance improvement/regulatory initiatives,

    Assists departments with development of performance improvement/regulatory indictors and analyzes the data collected,

    Performs survey readiness tracers and provides feedback to the department for follow up,

    Provides ongoing information and education on updates to regulatory standards: CMS, TJC, NJDOH,

    Coordinates quality reviews and responses to regulatory agencies,

    Coordinates root cause analysis on reportable events,

    Ensures action plans are implemented and monitoring is conducted,

    Assists with maintaining the online policy and procedure system,

    Personal Qualifications:

    Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization,

    Ability to effectively and efficiently organize, prioritize, and coordinate job responsibilities,

    Outstanding verbal and written communication skills,

    Experience:

    Minimum of five years experience in clinical practice,

    Knowledgeable about federal, state, and regulatory agency requirements,

    Bachelor s degree in healthcare related field required, Master s degree preferred,

    Licensed in healthcare and/or other healthcare related education desirable,
