Golf Superintendent - Assistant assists the Superintendent in the overall maintenance and care of the golf course, including turf/grass management, irrigation, and chemical applications (e.g., fertilizer, pesticides) to ensure quality playing conditions. Supervises personnel and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths. Being a Golf Superintendent - Assistant ensures adherence to golf course maintenance budget and capital plans. May serve in the Superintendent's capacity during absence. Additionally, Golf Superintendent - Assistant may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a golf course superintendent. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Overview
The Assistant Golf Professional will be responsible for the assisting supervision of outside staff. The Assistant Golf Professional will also be responsible for assisting with the management of the daily golf operation including managing and tracking play, assisting with merchandising, assisting with club events, tournaments and servicing the members and guests to ensure an exceptional golf experience.
Reports to the Director of Golf.
