Golf Superintendent - Assistant assists the Superintendent in the overall maintenance and care of the golf course, including turf/grass management, irrigation, and chemical applications (e.g., fertilizer, pesticides) to ensure quality playing conditions. Supervises personnel and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths. Being a Golf Superintendent - Assistant ensures adherence to golf course maintenance budget and capital plans. May serve in the Superintendent's capacity during absence. Additionally, Golf Superintendent - Assistant may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a golf course superintendent. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our construction team. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure the successful completion of construction projects. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Superintendent in overseeing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, safety compliance, and progress
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise
- Assist in managing project budgets and tracking expenses
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and RFIs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in construction management or related role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficient in construction management software such as ProCore or similar programs
- Familiarity with Primavera scheduling software and HeavyBid estimating software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
