Glazier installs glass in windows, skylights, store fronts, and display cases, or on surfaces such as building fronts, interior walls, ceilings, and tabletops. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Glazier may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Glazier relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Glass Guru of Honolulu is looking for a Glazier's apprentice. We are located in town, but serve the whole island of Oahu. While this is an entry-level position; if you are the right candidate, you will move up quickly.
The ideal candidate does not need glass experience, but you should have some comfort using hand tools and power tools. The most important skill you can bring to this opportunity is attendance and willingness to learn and improve. We have an established reputation for customer service and excellence, the opportunities you will be provided will allow you to excel and grow your knowledge rapidly. The second most important qualification is that your Driver's license must be free of major accidents and DUIs. The best learners are organized, have an eye for detail, an ability to follow instructions, and a consistently good attitude.
We offer a competitive starting wage, with a clear path forward towards greater responsibility and higher earnings. We work 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, and are looking for someone to work full time. Punctuality and consistency again are critical.
