Being a Glass Cutter/Finisher may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Glass Cutter/Finisher relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Auto Glass Technician for Allstate Glass repairs and installs windshields and windows in private and commercial vehicles, making every effort to complete high quality work at the lowest feasible cost to the company and in keeping with the expectations of customers.
The Auto Glass Technician will have good mechanical competency and a minimum of 2 years experience installing glass.
Must be an excellent listener and be able to communicate well with customers and installers.
Must have a clean valid drivers license and (be insurable by the company's insurance carrier). Pre-employment drug screening required.
Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
