Glass Cutter/Finisher operates automatic equipment that burns, scores, and breaks continuous sheets of glass into specific lengths. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Glass Cutter/Finisher may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Glass Cutter/Finisher relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This job requires knowledge of all things glass including; measuring, prepping, handling, transporting, installing, and cleaning. Applicants must be able to read a tape measure, carry up to 70lbs, pass a drug test, have a drivers license, and be comfortable handling different types of glass.
