    Job Title: Exploration Geologist

    Job Description
    Collect geological and geotechnical data by logging core and chips collected from drilling operations and updating the applicable geologic models. Update models to represent down-hole surveying and borehole geophysical studies that contribute to critical future expansions and resource knowledge through the optimization of geologic and geotechnical models. Collate, interpret and transfer digital geologic data for use in Leap Frog. Communicate applicable geologic information to Mine Planning and Geotechnical engineers and Production Geology. Assist in geologic map updates, georeferencing, and digitizing analog or scanned data and images as needed. Perform field explorations and subcontractor drilling supervision. Maintain appropriate project documentation like drill planning, drill status reporting, rig inspection, sample collection, and tracking. Create and update SOPs for logging, met screening, sample preparation, and dispatch as needed. Help ensure compliance of contract deliverables with drilling companies and suppliers.

    Working sustainably to support all community, environmental, social, and regulatory objectives maintained by TCM.

    Min exp: Bachelor's in Geology, Geosciences or equivalent; 2 years’ experience as an Exploration Geologist. 1 year experience with data science databases, fundamentals in geology and exploration procedure, experience across gold, copper deposit types, targeting tools using ArcGIS, Touch GIS, and QGIS, can interpret, add and edit 3D geologic models using Leapfrog.
