Behavioral Health Counselor (QMHP)

G Street Integrated Health is a local, independent non-profit primary care clinic is expanding its current behavioral health counseling services with the addition of a full time, master’s level clinician. Our behavioral health team is composed of a psychiatrist, board-certified addiction medicine physician, substance use counselors, care managers, and mental health counselors, and is fully integrated with our clinic’s primary care medical, psychiatry, and pharmacology staff. Our collaborative approach truly addresses the bio-psycho-social domains of our clients.

G Street Behavioral Health follows the AIMS model of Collaborative Care, an evidence-based approach developed at the University of Washington. We rely on collaboration with inter-department staff to treat clients toward their measurable, target goals during brief episodes of care (typically 12-24 weeks). Joining our team, you can expect to:

• Maintain 32 hours of direct client contact weekly with established G Street clients
• Provide accurate, timely documentation from intake to discharge
• Collaborate with on-site medical providers; physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a QMHP-qualified behavioral health field
• Current QMHP-R in good standing, or ability to gain QMHP-R within 30 days of hire
• Experience (6 months or more) with underserved populations
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
