Genetics Counselor jobs in New Jersey
Genetics Counselor provides genetic counseling and education to individuals and families at risk for hereditary disorders. Obtains and analyzes family medical history to identify patients at risk for specific disorders or syndromes. Being a Genetics Counselor recommends genetic testing as warranted and counsels patients on test results, treatment and alternative coping methods. May provide crisis intervention as needed. Additionally, Genetics Counselor requires a master's degree of Genetic Counseling. Typically reports to a manager or director. Requires board certification from the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG). Typically requires a state license to practice. Genetics Counselor's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

We are seeking a highly motivated Patient Coordinator to join our collaborative administrative team. This is a high standard, detail-oriented position that provides support to referring fertility clinics, patients and our internal laboratory. Responsibilities include:
- Substantial data entry and validation of both patient and clinic information
- Register and accession incoming samples
- Package supplies and shipments to clinics
- Process billing for patients
- Various other duties as assigned by manager
This is a full-time, permanent position. We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package including excellent benefits and 401(k). Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred however willing to train the right candidate!

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
