Inventory Manager - Cannabis

We're in search of a meticulous and well-organized Inventory Manager to supervise inventory control procedures within our cannabis company. The perfect candidate will possess a solid grasp of inventory management principles, outstanding communication abilities, and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced, regulatory-compliant setting

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all cannabis products in inventory.
• Tracking Systems: Implement and utilize inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels, track product movement, and conduct regular audits to reconcile any discrepancies.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely product delivery, manage purchase orders, and optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with regulations governing cannabis inventory management and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Establish and enforce procedures to maintain compliance in all inventory-related activities.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality assurance teams to develop procedures for inspecting and verifying the quality of incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring products meet established standards.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, trends, and discrepancies for management review. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance inventory efficiency.
• Leadership: Provide leadership and supervision to inventory control staff, offering training, guidance, and support to ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate inventory management processes, identifying opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness in inventory management.

Skills and Requirements:

• Biotrack experience preferred
• Prior experience in inventory management, preferably in the cannabis industry or similarly regulated sectors
• Solid understanding of inventory control principles, procedures, and optimal methodologies
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance obligations pertaining to cannabis inventory management.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in Cannabis Industry: 2 Years
• Leadership experience: 2 years

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Delhi, NY 13753: Relocate before starting work (Required)
