About the Park:

New Orleans RV Resort & Marina - New Orleans, LA. 70126 - This park is a high-end, gated RV resort and marina with villas for rent, restaurant and bar and guest lodge in a marina setting located near Lakefront Airport. The Resort and Marina is operated by Applebrook Homes, LLC.

About the Job:

We are looking for talented candidates who are well-rounded maintenance pros to take on a variety of projects throughout the resort. In the full-time position, you will be responsible for helping us maintain and enhance our RV Resort and Marina.

• Perform minor electrical, plumbing and structural repairs
• Ensure mechanical equipment is operating properly and repaired as needed.
• Perform general building and grounds maintenance as needed such as repairs and painting
• Install and replace floors, stairs, doors and fencing as needed
• Repair doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs as needed
• Follow all company safety protocols
• Work on other special projects as requested

Experience/Skills Required:

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience required
• Highschool graduate or GED required
• A sense of energy, integrity and dependability
• Dedication to serving customers and a job well done
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge and experience with basic plumbing and electrical systems
• Must be able to work 8 hours shifts, five days a week from 8:30 to 4:30, including some weekends
• Must be within commuting distance to the Resort and have reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and actively walk through the resort | Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach | Able to work outdoors throughout the year | Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside
