Maintenance Worker

Position Summary:

Performs a wide range of duties involved with maintaining the company equipment and facilities.

Essential Duties:

• Paints interior and/or exterior of building as needed.
• Repairs drywall of agency’s facilities.
• Handles electrical, plumbing repairs.
• Replaces heater filters as needed.
• Handles general carpentry work as needed or requested.
• Repairs windows and/or screens as needed.
• Takes out trash.
• Performs other general maintenance duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Competencies required in general maintenance work, including some knowledge and experience in janitorial equipment and techniques.  General information and experience related to carpentry, painting, electrical and mechanical repairs. 

Additional Requirements:

• Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver’s license.
• Must be able to successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training.
• Must be capable of working with and relating to others as part of an interdisciplinary team.
