Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a skilled and experienced maintenance supervisor to oversee our team of technicians and ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance services and management, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technicians and ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our maintenance services.
• Oversee the scheduling of projects and ensure that all deadlines are met.
• Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
• Manage the hiring, training, and development of new technicians.
• Monitor the performance of the team and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
• Prepare reports and presentations on the performance of the team and the status of ongoing projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of handyman services and techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Contractor License (Plumbing, Electrical …) – preferred but not required

This is a 1099 contractor position.Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on proper procedures and safety protocols
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and high voltage equipment
- Experience in facilities management, including managing maintenance schedules and budgets
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory
- Ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. Your expertise in HVAC systems, electrical systems, and facilities management will be essential in maintaining our equipment and infrastructure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
