General Laborer (Commercial Construction)

Aecore is looking for a General Laborer to help drive growth, improve operations and contribute to the overall success of the company. This is a growth role. You will be exposed to many areas of the construction process and our goal overtime is to scale you into a site management position. Key Responsibilities:

Support our Superintendents with the following across multiple projects:

• Operate our stake bed truck
• Maintain a clean job site- pick up tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
• Haul off debris and materials as needed
• Relocate site equipment to other projects
• Install and maintain site protection materials
• Open job sites and field questions when Superintendent is not present
• Perform misc punch list and other tasks
• Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
• Help develop best practices for field operations and management

Skills & Qualifications:

• Min 3 years working as in construction as a laborer or other trade (commercial preferred)
• Skillful at multiple trades including carpentry, painting and acoustical ceiling systems
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills, especially with subcontractors and our customers
• Ability to perform under pressure while remaining composed and cordial with clients and teammates
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions with limited information
• Rigorous attention to detail and quality
• Willingness to work in new situations & learn new skills
• Valid drivers license
• Fluent in English (bilingual in Spanish and English preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
