Operates a variety of tools to complete assignments according to internal and external policies and regulations. Being a General Laborer assembles and disassembles machines, tools, and other work-related equipment. Assists engineers and a variety of other functions with manual labor tasks as needed. Additionally, General Laborer may require a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The General Laborer works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. As a Water Restoration Technician, you will be in charge of eliminating property damage and handling any issues caused by water damage. Our technicians are the face of our organization and the first contact a client has after a traumatic situation, which is why our Water Restoration Technicians need to have good customer service and be willing to help others.

Responsibilities:
Handle any issues caused by water or mold damage and remove and replace damaged materials
Responsible for setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of
Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies
Document drying progress using a phone or tablet
Qualifications:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays
Ability to communicate accurately, great listening skills, and a positive attitude
Background in plumbing, demolition, water mitigation, and/or carpentry is a plus but not required
