Gas Supply Manager manages the supply and purchase of natural gas to meet company needs. Negotiates contracts with approved sources to maintain adequate supply and ensure favorable terms. Being a Gas Supply Manager forecasts change in prices in order to maintain company fuel investments. Coordinates proper transportation and storage of gas supplies. Additionally, Gas Supply Manager maintains business relationships with suppliers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Gas Supply Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Gas Supply Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Summary:

    Manages aspects of program implementation and operations. Ensures program is operating effectively. Responsibilities typically include some or most of the following in support of Program Management to ensure attainment of program metrics/objectives.

    *Managing relationship with and providing direction to vendor(s)

    *Developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts

    *Developing, measuring and reporting on success of the program

    *Partnering with the Marketing organization, vendors and external partners to develop and implement strategies to reach appropriate customer audience at the appropriate time

    *Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners

    *Partnering with Regulatory and Compliance staff to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and support regulatory activities by supplying information for filings, data requests, and meeting with regulators.

    *Identifying stakeholders and communicate within and outside of PG&E

    *Developing and/or implementing policies and procedures

    *Identifying new partners, technologies, and delivery channels

    This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.

    PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

    A reasonable salary range is:

    Bay Area Minimum: $122,000.

    Bay Area Maximum: $194,000.

    &/OR

    California Minimum: $116,000.

    California Maximum: $184,000.

    Job Responsibilities:

    *Applies broad expertise and advanced knowledge to wide-ranging issues.

    *May act as a team lead and provide direction to less experienced employees.

    *Works with Directors and Managers across functions to influence decisions.

    *Communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences using a variety of media.

    *Integrates industry knowledge related to data into everyday business practices and decision making.

    *Provides others with guidance around complex industry regulatory and

    compliance environment and considerations.

    *Creates new and complex data models to facilitate business decisions.

    *Provides direction on overall program.

    *Performs in-depth quality assurance final reviews and contract drafts.

    *Develops new or revises existing scopes of work to ensure compliance standards and deliverables are established.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum:

    *Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in business. Master's degree preferred

    *8 years of related experience or equivalent

    Desired:

    *PMP Certification

    *3-5 years of previous experience with PG&E Gas Project Management, asset management a plus
    *Strong Leadership skills with interest to grow

    *Advanced knowledge of Program Management

    *Ability to influence leaders inside and outside of the department through data analysis, insights and recommendations

    *Ability to lead large and complex projects working with cross-functional teams

    *Ability to create compelling business cases based on complex business environments and inputs

    *Adept at addressing issues with diplomacy and tact

    *Excellent negotiation skills.
