Gas Supply Manager manages the supply and purchase of natural gas to meet company needs. Negotiates contracts with approved sources to maintain adequate supply and ensure favorable terms. Being a Gas Supply Manager forecasts change in prices in order to maintain company fuel investments. Coordinates proper transportation and storage of gas supplies. Additionally, Gas Supply Manager maintains business relationships with suppliers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Gas Supply Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Gas Supply Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Keep detailed records of sales activity via CRM technology on an iPad. Develop collaborative working relationships with other sales representatives. Required Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills (friendly, personable, positive personality) Highly motivated to sell with a desire to succeed Customer focused, results oriented Time management skills Professional demeanor and attire Minimum Education, Experience and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record, a reliable personal vehicle, auto insurance coverage that satisfies the minimum requirement for the state. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work outdoors daily with exposure to an outside environment, which includes inclement weather. The employee is regularly required to drive, sit, stand, and walk; use hands and fingers to operate the iPad; and be able to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs (iPad, training binders, marketing materials, etc.). Note: Work hours vary by season. Evenings and some Saturdays required. Salary Range $30,000.00 - $30,000.00 *This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included. This role is also eligible for an uncapped sales commission. During your transition period, you may be eligible for a minimum commission of $20,000 annually.
