We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient management of inventory and supplies. The Supply Manager will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving process, managing the warehouse team, and implementing effective warehouse management systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in budgeting and fleet management, and a solid understanding of materials management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution
- Develop and implement warehouse management systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy
- Manage a team of warehouse supervisors and staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines or distribution centers
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts while reducing excess inventory
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms
- Analyze data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with finance department to develop budgets for supply chain operations
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Have been employed full time for at least three (3) years in a pharmacy or with a wholesale distributor in a capacity related to the dispensing and distribution of, and recordkeeping relating to, prescription drugs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (optional)
- Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial analysis
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
