We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager for our Southern Illinois market to service our customers and grow our business. The chosen candidate will be a personable, self-motivated competitor that possess a proven track record of success.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Territory Manager will be responsible for generating sales within an assigned territory.
Essential Functions
Develops new business and maintain existing business by building and sustaining strong, trusting relationships with customers and prospects
Cold calls (onsite & phone) potential targets
Responsible for gross profit improvement
Plans and organizes activities and resources so that sales goals are consistently met or exceeded
Prepares and executes Business Plan for targeted customer segments
Secures long term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements
Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data
Maintain list of target accounts by generating and qualifying new business leads
Conducts competitive intelligence
Demonstrates products to new account customers
Manages territory budget
Other duties as assigned
Basic Required Qualification
High School/GED
Five (5) years outside sales experience
Proficient with MS Office – Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Clean driving record

Bachelor’s Degree
Industrial, medical or specialty gas experience
